EcoVadis GOLD award for sustainability
We have every reason to celebrate! During this year’s EcoVadis evaluation, we were awarded a GOLD medal for our enduring commitment. We were able to improve in the environmental field in particular, placing us among the top 7 percent in this line of business.
We have enjoyed the highest accolade from EcoVadis, an international company that specialises in independent CSR ratings, since August 12018. Their GOLD award currently puts us in the top 3 percent of all certified companies. And with a total of 65 points, we are amongst the top 7 percent in the branch. The evaluation covered the fields of environment, fair business practices and working conditions. We were able to greatly improve on our result of last year, particularly in the environmental field. Our 70 points place us far above the industry average, which is currently 45 points, and thus among the top 7 percent.
We are delighted by this great honour and are very optimistic about the future. We are aiming to extend our commitment even further in the coming years; after all, we are constantly working on improving our performance. The basic principle that the long-term success of a company can only be guaranteed by combining innovation with social accountability is anchored firmly in the core values of ALD Automotive.
