For the third time in a row, our efforts in the field of sustainability have been recognized with the EcoVadis Gold Medal. The excellent result of the past year has been maintained.
ALD Automotive Switzerland has once again undergone the yearly sustainability assessment by the international platform EcoVadis and is pleased about the renewed Gold certification from the end of November 2020. With 67 out of 100 points, the ambitious result of the past year has been maintained. Therefore, we are among the top 5 per cent of all evaluated companies in the sector.
EcoVadis examines the responsible practice of companies concerning economic, social, and ecological factors. For the rating of sustainability, the fields of environment, labor and human rights, as well as ethics within the company are thoroughly assessed.
The level of the three categories being as high as ever, this year ALD Automotive Switzerland has again received the Gold certification. We are incredibly happy about this result and it recognizes our efforts to further improve in the field of CSR. Moreover, it confirms our plan to strongly focus on the issue of sustainability also in the coming year. For ALD Automotive long-term success of a company is only achievable if innovation is accompanied by social responsibility.
