ALD Automotive Switzerland have every reason to be happy: as in the previous year, we have been awarded the EcoVadis GOLD medal for our commitment to sustainability. We were even able to better the top result of 2018.
This was the third time that ALD Automotive Switzerland underwent the sustainability analysis of the international platform EcoVadis and since September 2019 we have been the proud holders of the GOLD certification. Scoring 67 out of a possible 100 points, we were not only able to greatly improve on last year’s result. This also placed us among the top 3 percent of all rated companies in the industry and once again secured us the highest accolade.
The independent CSR ratings performed by EcoVadis investigated the fields of environment, labour conditions and fair business practices. We managed to maintain our high scores in the categories environment and labour conditions, and in the field of fair business practices we were even able to improve our result by a whole 10 points. ALD Automotive’s 80 points places it clearly above the average of 40 points and firmly amongst the top 1 percent of participants from the industry.
The gold certification is confirmation for ALD Automotive of its CSR course and further motivation to keep pushing ahead with our sustainability goals in future. For ALD Automotive, a company can only achieve long-term success if innovation is paired with social responsibility.
