Your company has chosen ALD Automotive as its vehicle fleet partner. We offer all the services required to ensure you are well looked after as a driver. If you have any questions regarding your company car, we will be there for you.

The driver’s manual provides all the key information you need to take advantage of our services easily and quickly. To enable us to ensure smooth handling of all claims, please observe the information it contains as well as the vehicle manufacturer’s user manual.

Fuel and charge card - Completely without cash

For cashless payments of petrol, electric fuel and many other vehicle-related services (such as lubricants, vehicle cleaning, tax sticker, antifreeze, …) the following fuel cards are available:

Shell Card

With the Shell Card, you can use around 750 stations from Shell, Agrola and Migrol (Ticino) in Switzerland. The Shell Card is also accepted by Shell and partners across Europe in a comprehensive network of around 22'000 stations. Shell is constantly working to offer you an ever larger network of petrol stations with selected partners, e.g. soon through a partnership with ENI.

Shell e-mobility

In addition to petrol, the Shell Card also offers mobility for electric and hybrid vehicles. There are over 5'000 charging points available in Switzerland and over 150'000 in Europe.

Shell and Shell Recharge Solutions

In order to make sensible use of electric mobility, charging facilities are needed at the company and/or at drivers’ homes. Together with our experienced partner Shell Recharge Solutions, we are happy to advise companies on the topics of infrastructure and billing options.

Shell SmartPay

Discover the future at the petrol pump with the secure and contactless digital payment service of the Shell Card.

BP Plus fuel card

The BP Plus fuel card is accepted as part of the ROUTEX alliance of brands that includes BP, ARAL, ENI, OMV, Circle-K and other affiliates. Watch out for the Routex Logo.

Migrol Company Card

The Migrolcard enables cashless refuelling, washing and payment in a network of around 370 petrol stations in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. It is also accepted at Shell petrol stations with migrolino and mio shops.

Coop Pronto fuel card

With the Coop Pronto Company Card you can fill up at all Coop filling stations 365 days a year.

AVIA fuel card

With the AVIA fuel card, you can refuel at the largest network of petrol stations throughout Switzerland safely and without cash.

The fuel cards are easy to use:

  • The card will be swiped through the card reader at the till.
  • Your card has a personal ID number (PIN code). Enter your PIN.
  • The card reader accepts your data once you have entered your vehicle’s mileage.
  • Check the amount on the sales receipt and sign it, if necessary.
  • You will be given a copy of the sales receipt for your records.

Important information for using your fuel card:

  • Always enter the current mileage of your vehicle in the card reader. When filling up a replacement car, please enter 999999.
  • Report the loss or theft of a fuel card immediately by sending an email to driverservice.ch@aldautomotive.com.
  • If you enter an incorrect PIN number three times, your fuel card will be temporarily blocked. It is not necessary to report a blocked card to ALD Automotive; it will be activated again automatically after 24 hours.

 

Technical Service - All-round professional service

Maintenance-01

With the ALD Automotive Service Card you can use maintenance and wear-and-tear repair services without cash.

Please note the following:

  • This work must be carried out by a repair shop authorised by the manufacturer.
  • The maintenance intervals prescribed by the manufacturer in the vehicle documents must be adhered to.
  • Show the repair shop your ALD Service Card before dropping off your car.
  • The services are always billed through ALD Automotive.

 

Tyre Service - All-round professional service

With the ALD Automotive Service Card you can buy winter and summer tyres and rims without cash. The tyre set you don’t currently need can be stored with ALD Automotive tyre partners.

Please note the following:

  • Tyres can only be obtained from ALD Automotive tyre partners.
  • Show the tyre shop partner your ALD Service Card before dropping off your car.
  • The services are always billed through ALD Automotive.

Claims Management - We take care of things

In case of a damage, please proceed as follows:

  • If your car is still drivable, please call ALD Automotive at +41 58 272 32 27 or send us an email to insurance.ch@aldautomotive.com.
  • If your car is no longer roadworthy, call the ALD Automotive Road Assistance.
  • For damages involving a third party, please email us the completed European accident report at insurance.ch@aldautomotive.com.
  • For damages where no third party is involved, please email us the completed damage report at insurance.ch@aldautomotive.com.
  • Repairs to bodywork and glass damage must be carried out by one of the ALD Automotive partner repair shops on the list.
  • Repair orders may only be placed by ALD Automotive.
  • If required, the ALD Automotive partner repair shop can provide you with a replacement vehicle.
  • The services are invoiced through ALD Automotive.

Road Assistance - There for you around the clock

In case of accident, breakdown or theft, ALD Automotive Road Assistance is available around the clock on 365 days a year throughout Europe.

ALD Automotive Road Assistance offers comprehensive support to maintain your mobility:

  • Mobility and roadside assistance
  • Towing / recovery
  • Return transport
  • Spare parts delivery
  • Overnight accommodation costs
  • Replacement vehicle

Please note that services will only be rendered subject to arrangement over the telephone and with the agreement of ALD Automotive Road Assistance.

 

ALD Flex - Your car for short-term use

With ALD Flex, you can use a car spontaneously whenever you need it. You have access to immediately available vehicles with terms as low as only one day.

Please note the following:

  • Booking enquiries must be made by an authorised person in your company (e.g. a fleet manager).
  • Booking requests must be emailed to aldflex.ch@aldautomotive.com.

For all booking requests, please provide the following information:

  • Name of the driver
  • Daytime telephone number
  • Preferred vehicle category
  • Preferred collection location
  • Date and time of collection
  • Rental term

 

Vehicle Return - The easy way

You have two options for returning the vehicle:

  • At our return point in Altishofen
  • From a company site/dealership

Please check the options open to you with an authorised person in your company (e.g. a fleet manager).

Please note the following important information:

  • Contact us by email (return.ch@aldautomotive.com) at least four working days before you plan to return the vehicle.
  • When returning the car, please make sure that it is in running order and cleaned (inside and outside). This is required in order to create the return protocol correctly.
  • You must also return all documents and other items that were provided with the vehicle. The following checklist will be helpful:
Vehicle return checklist:
    • Vehicle registration document
    • All keys
    • Service leaflet and instructions
    • Second set of tyres, wheel trim caps, spare tyre
    • Boot cover
    • Radio code card, navigation CD/DVD
    • Fuel card(s)
    • Service Card

When picking up/returning the vehicle, a return protocol will be drawn up jointly with you, detailing the appearance of the car. There is a list of the damages we accept and don’t accept here.
